𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐁𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐅𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐂𝐃𝐅 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒 𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐏𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐁𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐘
Amongst the 2025 Skills Development Bursary Beneficiary is Kakoma Kayombo a Youth of Luanchuma Ward.
Kakoma had no sponsorship to undertake tertiary education from the time he completed his grade 12 in 2020 at Mulongo Secondary School in Lukulu District.
Last year, he applied for a Skills Development Bursary under Lukulu East Constituency to pursue a driving training at Motor links in Petauke, Eastern Province.
He was awarded the CDF Sponsorship early this year worthy K10,564 which covered training fees, food and accommodation.
He has now completed his course and has obtained a class CE driving licence.
Kakoma is grateful to the Government for introducing CDF which is benefitting a lot of youths in the Country.
He says now that he is empowered, he will use the skill accordingly.
He has since advised other youths to take advantage of CDF and apply for it in order to attain long life skills.
This year lukulu Town Council is Sponsoring 195 students under CDF Skills Development Bursary to pursue different skill related courses.
