Nyakamizhi Club from Luanchuma Ward of Lukulu District is a 10 Member Club that
received a K20,000 late last year under 2024 CDF Grants to venture into farming.
The hardworking group went on to purchase two oxen to help with ploughing as well as an oxcart for transportation.
In contributing to the district and Nation food basket, the club planted maize which has since been harvested awaiting sales.
The group will not just end at this but continue with farming and also other money making businesses like fish trading.
Team Chairperson Ms. Saliyembe is greatful for this Government innitiative which is uplifting people’s lives.
She has also encouraged other beneficiaries to use the funds for the intended purpose in order to achieve the programme objectives.
