Welcome to Lukulu District
Lukulu Town is the administrative heart of Lukulu District, located in the northern part of Western Province, Zambia. As the sole constituency of Lukulu East, divided into 17 wards, we serve as the engine of local governance, development, and community empowerment.
Location & Geography
The district derives its name from the Lukulu River, nestled between the Chimbanda and Majoro basins, connected to the Luangwa River in the Zambezi basin.
Lukulu District has one chief, His Royal Highness Senior Chief Anang'anga, who is responsible for enforcing customary law through a committee comprising advisers and village headmen.
